I remember oggling at TCFS’s store for hours in Myeongdong but left empty-handed because I was a little iffy about the packaging. I ditched it because I thought I’m too old for cutesy things but now I regret acting like brat over an artistically illustrated product. But no worries because they flew the brand to Manila and is just a traffic jam away from where I live. I seriously want to visit their stores! It looks so artsy fartsy! Anyway, the name of this product is a mouthful so let’s just refer to this as the “BB foundation.” I believe the foundation is sold in samples and is included in their product called “Lunch Box”. The top lid of the lunch box houses the concealer and highlighter, while the jar itself has the foundation.
Attaches and sustains well, this BB Cream alone performs outstandingly with natural glow and livelihood to the skin, and creates thin makeup layer to prevent dehydration, keeping skin moist for long hours. Containing evenly dissolved organic and inorganic UV ray protector, it blocks UV rays (UVA, UVB) for a longer time, with skin caring extracts and derivatives protecting skin from harmful environment.
There’s are 2 variants available for this BB Foundation, #1 matte and #2 moist. I’m just not sure if they vary in shade too. There’s little info on the shades or difference between the 2 but #1 is lighter in shade and I’d assume has a matte effect for oily skin (duh) and #2 is medium tone and has a dewy effect for dry skin. I got #2 but still appears lighter than my skin tone. What I like about this is that it has hydrating properties and contains SPF 37.
The BB Foundation has a light and creamy texture that is quite difficult to blend as it dries quickly. Once blended out, if feels like second skin. It gives your face a subtle glow though it’s not very obvious in the photo because of the lighting. It’s has a light to medium coverage but doesn’t fully conceal imperfections. Two layers of this lasts around 4 to 5 hours alone but longer when set with a powder. This has a strong florally scent that bothers me so that turned me off.
This BB Foundation is okay. It’s more of a tinted moisturizer that’s slightly thicker in consistency and with longer wear. It’s great for no makeup makeup look. It feels light and natural looking. However, I wish this came in a wider range of shades as this one is lighter than my skin tone. I also wish this doesn’t have that strong scent!
